** ONLINE SUBMISSIONS ONLY ** The City is soliciting responses from qualified and experienced Contractors for Waterdown Road Reconstruction and Widening, from a 2-lane rural cross section to a 4-lane urban cross section. The reconstruction work involves installation of new watermain, storm sewer, full road reconstruction (granular, concrete, asphalt) and installation of a precast box culvert, and street lighting. It is the City’s intention to award the contract tendered to one legal entity. As such, a response to this prequalification that is submitted jointly by two or more contractors that have not formed one legal entity will not be considered. It is anticipated that the subsequent Request for Tenders will be issued in March/April 2023. The Request for Tenders will be posted by the City of Burlington’s Engineering Services department, and unless otherwise advised, will be posted on www.bidsandtenders.ca. |
