Description: 

The Corporation of the City of Burlington is soliciting Bids from qualified and experienced Landscape Architectural firms for design, construction tender preparation and contract administration services for Ireland Park improvements.  The purpose of this project is to renew/replace existing infrastructure that is near the end of its lifecycle and to make changes to improve overall performance.  See Appendix A – Ireland Park Plan 

The improvement work required is for the following infrastructure:

  • Existing main water lines (2 mainlines)
  • Existing sports field irrigation systems (3 baseball diamonds & 1 soccer field)
  • Existing sports lights (2 baseball diamonds)
  • Existing pedestrian bridge (1)

Work will entail the following – for all above infrastructure:

  • Perform site investigations to determine specific scope and requirements
  • Conduct preliminary design explorations
  • Develop cost estimates
  • Develop final designs
  • Pre-consult with government agencies on approval and permit requirements
  • Apply for government agency approval permits
  • Prepare construction tender contract drawings and tender documents
  • Provide contract administration services for construction taking place in 2024 and 2025
