Summer Concession Operations at Mountainside and Beachway Concessions
The intent of this RFP is to select a vendor that can provide high quality concession food and beverage services for the summer operations at Beachway Snack Shack and Mountainside Pool to a diverse customer base. The successful vendor will be required to ensure that the operation complies with Council policies and procedures related to matters such as risk management, financial performance and health and safety standards. There are two (2) concession locations at the City of Burlington, both summer operations. Sales at these locations are undetermined. Summer Concession Operations from May to September include the following two locations:
The concessions operation will commence for Summer operations on May 1st 2021. The start date for Beachway Concession may be delayed due to construction. The City of Burlington has made a commitment to healthier supportive environment through Healthy Food options, the successful proponent will be expected to provide a high quality of food options including healthy options. Healthy food and beverage choices can be described generally as products that are low in added fat, sugar, salt and/or caffeine and higher in vitamins, minerals, and/or fibre. It will be the successful vendor’s responsibility to provide high quality concession services while adhering to the policy and procedures. |
