The Corporation of the City of Burlington (City) is seeking Bids from qualified and experienced consulting firms for the design, permitting and part time contract administration of a new pedestrian bridge and pathway across Sheldon Creek between Brada Woods Park and Orchard Road in Burlington, Ontario. 

The intent of this project is to create a new, efficient, and effective active transportation connection from the East side of Brada Woods Park to Orchard Road. This will include all work associated with the bridge design, pathway design, permitting, approvals from all review agencies, tender package preparation, part time contract administration, commissioning, acceptance, and project closeout. The City will issue the tender and be responsible to execute the contract. The successful Bidder will be responsible to submit, to the City, any required documentation for required amendments during the bidding process.

The City has assembled an internal project team made up of staff from various departments across the Corporation to oversee the development of this project. A Landscape Architect from the Engineering Services Department will be the single point of contact and Project Lead for the City.
