Description: 

The Corporation of the City of Burlington (the “City”) intends to retain a supplier for tire supply, delivery, storage, installation (as required), undertake regular fleet check and provide reports including a visual inspection, checking tire condition and tread depth, retorque of applicable wheels, and pressure check, documenting any deficiencies concerning the condition of the tires, rims, nuts, studs, valve stems, etc., as well as carry our necessary repairs upon City’s approval. Additional services such as drill hole, supply and install stud, perform tire change over within specified radius (including removal, dismount, mount, install and torque to specification), tire rotation, retreading (casing will be supplied by the City) will be ordered on as required basis.

The City intends to source its entire tire requirements and related services from the successful Bidder (the “Vendor”) for a period of up to five (5) years. These include transit buses, fire trucks as well as various fleets, snowplows, recreation/lawn vehicles, construction equipment, City-owned cars, etc. The services are to be provided at various locations throughout the City of Burlington.

In addition, the agency fee of $70.80 must be paid.
