The Corporation of the City of Burlington (the “City”) requires a service provider to conduct annual inspection and testing, 5-year surveys, and as-needed repairs/replacements of City-owned backflow prevention devices (“BFP devices”), as specified in this document including all labour, materials, services, transportation, and incidentals, but not including supply, delivery, and installation of new BFP devices (unless ordered by the City) for a period of up to five (5) years. The successful Bidder (the “Contractor” or the “Vendor”) shall provide an annual testing and inspection of approximately 261 BFP devices (see Appendix A), both indoor and outdoor, located throughout the City of Burlington on annual basis and provide reports that will meet requirements of the Halton Region’s cross-connection control and backflow prevention program. The Vendor shall also provide on-demand repair services when requested by the City. |
