The Corporation of the City of Burlington is soliciting Bids from qualified and experienced consulting firms for the design, permitting, tender package preparation and contract administration assistance during construction related to pedestrian bridge replacement and rehabilitation The purpose of this project is to replace one (1) existing pedestrian bridge in Ireland Park and perform rehabilitative work to prolong the life cycle of sixteen (16) pedestrian bridges. This will include all work associated with the bridge design, permitting, approvals from all regulatory agencies, tender package preparation, contract administration assistance, commissioning, acceptance and project closeout. The City will issue the tender and be responsible to execute the contract. The work required is for the following infrastructure: PART A: Replace one (1) existing pedestrian bridge in Ireland Park, PART B: Repair, maintenance and rehabilitation of sixteen (16) existing bridges at the following locations:
