It is a mandatory requirement of this Tender that the Hostile Vehicle Mitigation system to be used must have the capability to be moved by one person without the use of heavy machinery.

The City of Burlington is seeking a qualified and experienced company to provide traffic control and hostile vehicle management services for various events throughout the city, as per the details contained within the Bid Document. 

The provision of Traffic Control devices and Hostile Vehicle Mitigation measures are required for the following events:

  1. Remembrance Day
  2. Burlington’s Santa Claus Parade
  3. Sound of Music
  4. Streetfest
  5. Canada Day

This is a multi-year contract and therefore dates will change each year.
